Our approach to R&D Position Summary You will lead a team of programmers to deliver high-quality clinical data outputs for complex studies. You will work closely with statisticians, study leads, project managers and external partners. We value clear communication, technical excellence, practical problem solving and continuous improvement. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Lead and coordinate programming deliverables for clinical studies, including datasets, tables, listings and figures to agreed timelines and quality standards. - Oversee outsourced programming activities and manage vendor performance to meet timelines, quality and budget expectations. - Define, implement and maintain programming standards, templates and workflows across studies. - Review study documents and analysis plans, and advise on programming impacts, risks and timelines. - Mentor and coach junior programmers, providing technical guidance and supporting career development. - Monitor study-level risks, propose pragmatic solutions and escalate when required to keep deliveries on track. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, life sciences, information technology or a related field. - Minimum 6 years of experience in clinical or statistical programming. - Strong experience in SAS programming, including macro development and SQL. - Working knowledge of R or Python for scripting, automation or analysis. - Practical knowledge of clinical data standards such as CDISC (SDTM, ADaM) or equivalent. - Good written and verbal communication skills with experience explaining technical topics to non-technical colleagues. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus - Experience managing outsourced work with CROs or external vendors. - Hands-on experience producing submission-ready files and documentation (define.xml, reviewers’ guides). - Familiarity with automation, code modularity and reusable macro development. - Experience with data visualization or reporting tools. - Understanding of regulatory submission processes and quality frameworks. - Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments and using collaboration tools.
