Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma. &nbsp;</div>Legend Biotech is seeking a&nbsp;Finance &amp; Accounting Intern as part of the Finance team based in Somerset, NJ. Role Overview Legend Biotech is seeking a Finance &amp; Accounting Intern to join our Accounting Team for our 2026 Summer Internship Program, which will run from June 1st, 2026, to August 14th, 2026. Key Responsibilities Intern will rotate on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to the different Finance &amp; Accounting groups covering: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">US Accounting.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">RoW (Ireland, Belgium, Cayman) Accounting.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Accounts Payable.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">External Reporting &amp; Technical Accounting.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Internal Audit.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Master Data Governance.</li> </ul> Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting the following activities: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Month-end close of accounting books including all month-end activities like accruals, account reconciliations, processing invoices, manual journal entries, etc.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Post-close financial analysis of actual results.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ingesting and processing third-party and intercompany invoices.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Consolidation of quarter-end financial statements and disclosures and preparation of external SEC filings.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Technical Accounting research and analyses of business transactions and events.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Internal audits including operational audits against company policies and compliance and exposure to internal audit support of the external audit.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Master data governance within ERP systems for Finance &amp; Accounting.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Leveraging automation, technology, and GenAI for process efficiency and enhanced task performance.</li> </ul> Decision Making <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support decision-making by analyzing financial data and summarizing key insights.</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In process bachelor’s or master’s degree of accounting, finance, or professional business degree.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Junior year or higher for undergraduate students) with all introduction coursework completed in fundamental accounting principles (ideally intermediate accounting), Finance, and/or Economics.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Interest in becoming a CPA or FP&amp;A professional.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Basic skills with Microsoft 365 applications, especially excel.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Familiarity with automation concepts and GenAI tools.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong ownership of task completion.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> #Li-BG1 #Li-Hybrid<div class="content-conclusion">Please note: These benefits are offered exclusively to permanent full-time employees.
