What will you be doing?
You will sit at the heart of the Central Functions IT finance agenda, acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders. Working across Controllers and GBS, you will help ensure seamless end to end finance delivery, combining strong process discipline with commercial insight. Your work will move between structured performance cycles and deep analysis, using technology and data to bring clarity to opportunities, risks and priorities.
You will:
Design and produce insightful financial reporting that supports decision making and highlights opportunities and risks
Drive and improve performance appraisal cycles, including presenting financials to both finance and non finance stakeholders
Perform in depth analysis to quantify opportunities, understand risks and support investment cases, including return on investment analysis
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and actuals processes for IT, while monitoring progress against annual budgets and strategic plans
Drive standardisation, data quality improvement, digitalisation and control execution, including SOX controls in your areas of accountability
Champion change as the organisation evolves, supporting integration, process establishment and business transition
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role comes from being a credible, trusted finance advisor who can combine technical strength with confidence, curiosity and influence.
To thrive, you will bring:
A degree and a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CIMA or ACCA, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience including at least 3 years in a senior finance role
Proven experience partnering with senior leadership teams on strategic planning, budgets and forecasts, ideally within a commercial, manufacturing or IT finance environment
Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and the confidence to challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement
Fluent English at C1 level or above, with the ability to communicate and influence credibly at senior stakeholder level
Experience with consolidation and BI systems such as Hyperion HFM or Cognos, along with exposure to tax and regulatory jurisdictions including intercompany charging and transfer pricing, will be an advantage.
