About the Role

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Robotic Engineer to join our R&D team in Nansha, Guangzhou. This role is ideal for someone passionate about laboratory automation and synthetic chemistry, who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining high-throughput equipment and deploying automated workflows that accelerate our chemistry innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-throughput robotic systems (e.g., liquid handlers, plate readers,  automated reactors).

  • Perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance, and software updates to ensure optimal equipment performance.

  • Design and implement automated workflows for synthetic chemistry experiments.

  • Translate manual protocols into automated scripts using vendor-specific or general-purpose programming tools.

  • Work closely with chemists, engineers, and data scientists to align automation strategies with experimental goals.

  • Document procedures, maintenance logs, and workflow configurations.

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for technical support and upgrades.

  • Provide training and support to lab personnel on equipment usage and safety.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Robotics, Automation, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with laboratory automation or robotic systems.

  • Familiarity with synthetic chemistry workflows and laboratory instrumentation.

  • Experience in scripting or programming for automation (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English.

Preferred:

  • Experience with high-throughput screening platforms and liquid handling systems

  • Knowledge of LIMS systems and data integration tools.
