Come join Medtronic’s fastest growing business Cardiac Ablation Solutions that delivers innovative ablation and mapping technologies to treat patients suffering from cardiac arrhythmias. We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to recruit, develop and lead a high performing team to drive revenue growth in cardiac ablation consumable products and installation base of the Affera 3D mapping and navigation system in the Victorian, South & Western Australian regions.
You will support the launch and adoption of our new Electrophysiology mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. You will develop mapping talent in the field, deliver growth in sales, and deploy change management skills to meet the needs of our growing organisation. Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. It is focused on disrupting and leading the market with advanced ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and conventional Electrophysiology products.
You will be based in Melbourne or Adelaide and report into the Cardiac Ablation Solutions Regional Director. This role offers a significant opportunity to combine deep electrophysiology mapping expertise with strong leadership capabilities to grow a team, drive success, and grow the Cardiac ablation solutions team to treat more patients.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties maybe assigned:
Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified region to achieve established sales targets
Develops and implements regional business strategies to execute on opportunities in the region for potential accounts. Implements business & marketing objectives to further sales.
Manages the day-to-day activities of a sales and clinical team to implement the organization's overall business & marketing strategy for an assigned region
Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, key account personnel and relevant functions in order to support selling, mapping, and clinical programs
Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organization's sales plans to increase market share
Assesses need for the addition of new selling programs and processes, conducts competitive analysis, and implements strategies
Coaches’ sales representatives on capital & consumable aspects of the organization's products and services; marketing campaigns and sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum bachelor’s degree is required
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to operate 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
Demonstrate an agile and can-do mindset
Interstate travel is required
Valid driver’s licence required
