Position Summary:
The Professional Affairs Coordinator provides administrative and data management support under the direction of the Associate Director, Professional Affairs. Key responsibilities include data entry and verification, work activity report processing, payment request creation, and surgeon reimbursement management. This role primarily utilizes Medcompli software and is heavily focused on processing surgeon payments, including consulting and royalty payments. The Coordinator also supports both internal and external stakeholders by ensuring timely responses and resolution of inquiries. Strong collaboration skills are required to effectively coordinate projects across multiple departments. Additionally, this role is cross-trained to support both the Professional Affairs and Grants teams.
Essential Functions:
Support data entry, verification, payment processing, and general data management within Medcompli
Generate and process payment requests, including consultant, royalty, fellowship, and reimbursement payments
Maintain and track payment data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies
Review and process surgeon reimbursement documentation to ensure completeness and approval for payment
Work closely with the Business Intelligence group and finance on surgeon royalty payments and distribution of statements to each surgeon
Maintain yearly accounting codes within the Medcompli system
Keep surgeon records, including banking information, tax documentation (e.g., 1099s), and accounting codes
Prepare reports for surgeons and internal stakeholders, including Compliance, as requested
Assist internal teams with Medcompli usage and invoicing processes
Provide responsive support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely issue resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workflows and projects
Identify and recommend process improvements
Provide direct support to the Associate Director, Professional Affairs
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus

Qualifications:
Minimum Associate’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
Administrative experience in a corporate environment (experience supporting payment/contracts or working within a legal/compliance setting is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of responsibilities
Proven ability to execute complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach
Ability to balance independent work while contributing effectively within a team environment
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
