THE OPPORTUNITY
The Product Manager plays a critical role in shaping and executing the end‑to‑end Pharma marketing strategy, overseeing the portfolio across Cardiovascular and New Therapeutic Areas to drive strong strategic alignment, execution excellence, and long‑term value creation. Through scientific innovation and a focus on expanding patient access, this role contributes to disease prevention, improved population health outcomes, and more sustainable healthcare systems, and reports directly to the Marketing Manager.
This role will focus on:
- Own and accelerate the Cardiovascular portfolio’s growth through strong brand leadership.
- Drive end-to-end launch excellence for new products and new indications.
- Lead market strategy with deep insight into market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Strengthen Sales Force capabilities to ensure best‑in‑class field execution.
- Expand patient access by partnering closely with Access teams and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate strong KOL relationships to influence market direction and scientific advocacy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Strategic & Marketing Leadership
- Develop, refine, and execute comprehensive Marketing Plans across Cardiovascular and New Therapeutic Areas that deliver strong and sustainable performance.
- Lead end‑to‑end product lifecycle management, including pre‑launch planning, launch execution, in‑market optimization, and loss‑of‑exclusivity preparation where applicable.
- Lead launch readiness planning across all functions for new products and new indications.
- Analyze market evolution, competitive trends, and customer needs, translating insights into strategic actions and timely plan adjustments.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Access Expansion
- Work closely with Medical, Sales, Access, Regulatory, and Supply teams to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
- Co‑lead access initiatives with internal and external partners to broaden patient reach and expand business opportunities.
- Build deep and influential partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Sales Enablement
- Translate brand strategy into clear, actionable go‑to‑market plans that enable strong and consistent field execution.
- Design, enhance, and implement Sales Force Training programs that uplift capability and ensure consistent brand execution.
- Provide clear brand messaging, campaign materials, and insights to strengthen field performance.
- Act as a key partner to Sales leadership in identifying capability gaps and continuous improvement opportunities.
Resource & Performance Management
- Manage promotional budgets and resources responsibly to maximize return on investment while ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Oversee relevant P&L components (e.g. demand forecasting, promotional spend, gross‑to‑net drivers), demonstrating strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Contribute to forecasting, scenario planning, and business reviews, supporting informed decision‑making by leadership
Governance, Compliance & Ways of Working
- Ensure all marketing activities are fully compliant with company policies, industry codes, and local regulatory requirements.
- Champion high standards of marketing excellence, governance, and cross‑functional ways of working.
- Proactively identify risks and mitigation actions related to brand reputation, compliance, and execution quality.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, preferably in chronic disease, cardiovascular, or specialty areas.
- Proven experience in product launch, brand management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into effective marketing actions.
- Solid understanding of digital, data‑driven marketing and analytics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on performance, ROI, and compliance.
- Self‑motivated, result‑oriented team player with strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for expanding patient access to innovative medicines.
