We are seeking a passionate Medical Enabler to join our dynamic APAC Rare Diseases team. This permanent, full-time role is an above-country pooled resource position, requiring an 80-100% FTE above country commitment within our network.
Ideally, we are seeking someone who has extensive experience working healthcare systems across Asia and will be located in Hong Kong or Taiwan, however this role offers a thrilling opportunity to focus on cross-border work packages and enablement, collaborating across various regional and Global networks to drive meaningful change.
What You'll be working on:
As a Medical Enabler, (APAC) Rare Diseases, you will:
Provide strategic input and operational support for late-stage development/near-launch therapies in Rare Diseases.
Act as a scientific expert for our medicines and solutions throughout their product life cycles.
Work in virtual, cross-border, cross-functional teams to realize and scale country, regional and Global outcomes.
Foster meaningful scientific collaborations and value-based partnerships with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs), healthcare professionals, patient organizations across multiple healthcare systems.
Contribute to understanding data gaps and support data generation plans (e.g., Phase IV studies, registries).
Build high-value continuing medical education programs for external stakeholders.
Provide strategic medical review and approval for materials and communications.
Liaise closely with global medical colleagues and teams to ensure coordination and consistency to our data dissemination
Who you are:
You are a passionate Medical Affairs professional ready to make a significant impact on Rare Disease health across Asia. As a subject matter expert with the potential for future leadership roles you have an entrepreneurial spirit, identify opportunities, are comfortable with ambiguity and challenge the status quo.
You have:
Relevant experience in a Medical Affairs role within Pharmaceutical, Diagnostics, Health Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields.
Experience of working in Rare Diseases would be very desirable.
Strong data comprehension, critical appraisal, synthesis, and delivery skills.
A "System Thinker" mindset, able to build strong internal/external collaborations to drive change.
Customer-Centric approach, co-creating solutions to address needs and transform clinical practice.
A culture of humanity, curiosity, and responsibility, thriving in an empowered, dynamic, and agile working environment.
Proven track record of building, leading, and contributing to high-performing, diverse, agile / matrix teams.
MD degree; PhD or Bachelor’s degree in science, biology, immunology, neuroscience, or equivalent preferred. Clinical experience in Rare Diseases is a plus.
