Job Description
 

AI Strategy & Product Ownership

  • Serve as an IT Business Analyst for AI initiatives, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from ideation to PoC and pilot delivery.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify pain points and opportunities where AI can drive impact.
  • Define AI use cases, success metrics, and roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy.

Business Engagement & Requirements

  • Engage closely with cross-functional business teams (R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.) to understand processes and challenges.
  • Translate business needs into clear AI scenarios, functional requirements, and user stories.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions to refine problem statements and solution scope.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Design and guide AI solutions with a deep understanding of API-based integration, on-premise AI platforms, and hybrid/cloud architectures.
  • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and vendors to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant.
  • Rapidly build or orchestrate AI PoC environments, either independently or with global teams.

Hands-on Innovation

  • Lead quick experiments and PoCs using modern AI/ML and GenAI technologies to validate feasibility and value.
  • Evaluate tools, platforms, and models, making recommendations for enterprise adoption.

Stakeholder & Program Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership on AI opportunities and risks.
  • Manage multiple initiatives in parallel, ensuring timely delivery and value realization.
  • Communicate progress, outcomes, and learnings to executive stakeholders.

Governance, Risk & Best Practices

  • Ensure AI solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Promote responsible AI practices and contribute to AI governance frameworks.
  • Drive documentation, knowledge sharing, and reuse of patterns and components.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or solution delivery roles, with 3+ years focused on AI/ML or advanced analytics.
  • Proven hands-on experience acting as a business analyst or solution lead for technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • API design and integration (REST, microservices).
    • On-premise and hybrid AI/ML architectures (data platforms, model serving, MLOps).
    • AI/ML lifecycle: data prep, training, validation, deployment, monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience building or leading AI PoCs in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GenAI platforms, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP) in hybrid enterprise environments.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries.
  • Agile/Scrum product ownership or certification.
  • Familiarity with data engineering, analytics platforms, and MLOps tools
