Intern – Medical Technologist [Special Chemistry]

Labcorp is seeking a Special Chemistry Medical Technologist Intern to join our team in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Student will gain clinical experience working in the laboratory of a drug development company.
• Good understanding of clinical testing from sample collection to testing and the use of different tests.
• Student will be trained in protein electrophoresis techniques and interpretation of results in Multiple Myeloma.
• Trained in the operation and maintenance of multiple analyzers.
• Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Attend laboratory modules linked to quality control management, pipetting skills and the various informatics labware.
• Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your soft skills and professional presence.
• Instruction and mentorship will be provided.
• At the end of training, the student will do presentation to fulfill his/her understanding in the training/project assignment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Biomedical Sciences.

• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Creative and self-motivated individual who works collaboratively in a high performance team environment.
