Role Summary
The Head of Global Supply Planning is accountable for enterprise‑wide supply planning, ensuring global consistency, governance, and alignment across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial plans. This role acts as the enterprise orchestrator of the IBP supply cycle, driving transparency, scenario‑based decision‑making, and leadership alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the global constrained supply plan, including scenario modeling and guardrail definitions.
- Lead the global supply review forums, unifying sites, regions, procurement, MSAT, commercial, and finance toward one global plan.
- Set global processes, standards, horizons, and planning assumptions for supply planning.
- Drive identification and escalation of supply risks, constraints, and infeasible demand.
- Align supply scenarios with financial implications; partner with Finance to ensure revenue and cost alignment.
- Integrate new product introductions (NPI), tech transfers, and scale‑up activities into executable supply plans.
- Provide leadership across the six global supply‑planning pillars (Finished Goods, Direct Materials, Capacity, Inventory, Allocation, Scenario Planning).

- Supply plan attainment & customer OTIF
- Inventory health and obsolescence reduction
- Quality/timeliness of supply scenarios and decision recommendations
- Risk and constraint management effectiveness
Qualifications
Qualifications
1. Education & Professional Background
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or Business preferred.
- 12–15+ years of experience, including 10+ years of increasing managerial experience, in end‑to‑end supply chain planning, manufacturing, operations, or integrated business planning (IBP).
- Proven leadership roles managing global planning, multi‑region operations, or enterprise‑wide supply functions.
2. Deep Expertise in Supply Planning & IBP
- Demonstrated mastery of constrained supply planning, capacity planning, inventory optimization, and scenario‑based planning
- Strong understanding of IBP processes including demand–supply balancing, financial alignment, and executive decision forums
- Experience integrating NPI, scale‑up, and manufacturing tech‑transfer into supply plans
3. Leadership & Enterprise Influence
- Ability to act as the enterprise orchestrator for cross‑functional planning across Commercial, Finance, Operations, MSAT, Procurement, and Quality
- Experience leading large cross‑functional teams and driving governance, planning standards, and enterprise‑wide processes.
4. Analytical & Decision-Making Skills
- Strong capability in data‑driven decision‑making, including scenario modeling, constraint analysis, and risk assessment
- Technical fluency with planning systems, optimization tools, supply modeling, and analytics environments.
5. Communication & Executive Presence
- Ability to simplify complex trade‑offs and present clear, transparent recommendations to executive leadership.
- Skilled at leading high‑stakes decision forums, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving alignment under uncertainty.
6. Change Leadership & Transformation Capability
- Experience driving operating model transformation, planning standardization, or global capability building.
- Strong ability to define guardrails, governance, and processes for a newly established or scaled planning function.
7. Performance & Accountability Mindset
- Proven track record delivering improvements in:
- Supply plan attainment
- Inventory health (including obsolescence reduction)
- Customer OTIF
- Planning cycle quality and stabilit
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least March 31, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $178,080.00 - $297,728.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
