What you will do:

The Front Desk Coordinator at 1941 Stryker Way will be the primary receptionist of all employees and visitors to the building, while supporting building tours, guests, and events.

  • Responsible for tracking and directing visitors, handling building inquiries, supporting logistics of building events and customer visits, as well as administrative support for the building and Meetings & Events Team
  • Welcome employees, visitors, and customers to the building, directing them to appropriate locations; prepare name badges and other print and electronic materials as necessary
  • Validate proper badge wearing for all employees entering the facility
  • Answer, solve or appropriately redirect employee and visitor questions or concerns
  • Collaborate with building partners and vendors to create a cohesive building environment
  • Accept deliveries, mail, equipment, catering, and packages and organize them to be distributed to the correct recipient in a timely manner
  • Maintain a welcoming and appealing lobby environment
  • Perform administrative tasks for building events including attendee list tracking, signage, expense submissions, and weekly calendar updates
  • Facilitate the employee dry cleaning program and other amenities as required
  • Support the Meetings & Events team in expense reconciliation and project sourcing
  • Support Customer Experience Visits as directed

What you need:

Preferred

  • ​​High school diploma or equivalent 
  • ​One (1)+ year of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or switchboard role, preferably in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly (e.g., Coupa)
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines)
  • ​Professional and friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills; capable of handling confidential or sensitive information with diplomacy and discretion
  • ​Ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage stressful or critical situations calmly; work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate sound judgment
