Roche has established the Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) in India to drive technology-driven solutions by partnering with Roche affiliates globally. As an Analyst based in our Hyderabad (preferred) or Chennai office, you will work closely with business stakeholders across our global affiliates to deliver high-quality analytics solutions to real-world business problems. You will conceptualize complex, unstructured problems and apply your analytical skills to address critical business questions.

The Opportunity

• You collaborate with a team to deliver analytics projects that address the key business needs of Roche and its affiliates across the globe.

• You process small and large-scale secondary healthcare datasets, performing complex analyses to derive meaningful insights.

• You build statistical models using state-of-the-art analytics tools.

• You generate qualitative and quantitative reports that communicate key takeaways in an easy-to-understand manner.

• You present findings from your analyses to stakeholders in an effective, structured, and compelling fashion.

• You develop and maintain expert knowledge of the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace.

• You take complete ownership of your work with minimal guidance, adding value in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• You help the team prioritize competing stakeholder requests to ensure focus on activities of the highest importance.

• You contribute to internal initiatives and help grow the GATE team.

Who You Are

• You have 1–3 years of overall experience in the analytics or consulting space, preferably within the Pharma, Biotech, or Healthcare domain.

• You are proficient in statistical data analysis tools; knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel (Pivot, Macros, and VBA) is a must, while Python and SAS are highly advantageous.

• You possess strong presentation skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.

• You have a knack for data storytelling and generating actionable insights.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• You are a highly motivated, learning-oriented, and quality-focused individual.

• Bonus: Experience in Big Data Analysis with Hadoop, Hive, or Spark is a strong plus.
