Executes consolidation, analysis and reporting for regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial statements and keeps abreast of changes in internal guidelines and external accounting standards.

About the role
We’re seeking an accounting professional to support accurate, timely financial reporting and close activities. In this role, you’ll review banking and investment activity, foreign currency transactions, and fixed-asset activity; ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS and/or US GAAP); and help drive improvements to accounting processes. You’ll partner cross-functionally and support stakeholders with clear, actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Review bank account activity daily and identify transactions requiring follow-up; partner with Treasury and other stakeholders to resolve items.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and an outsourced provider to reconcile account status and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review foreign currency transactions and post entries to record gains/losses, as applicable.
  • Review fixed-asset documentation and process requests in SAP.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly fixed-asset reporting for the business.
  • Support internal and external audit requests related to fixed assets.
  • Coordinate fixed-asset period-end close activities.
  • Coordinate fixed-asset inventory activities, including tracking and documentation.
  • Support the Tax team with fixed-asset data and related documentation.
  • Assist with month-end close activities as needed (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations, analysis).
  • Process tariff information from shippers for business review and approval.
  • Contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives that enhance close efficiency, reporting quality, and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The base pay range for this position is:

$60,860 - $83,677

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
