Drug data last refreshed Yesterday
Junior Strength Motrin is an oral tablet formulation of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes to reduce pain and fever. It is indicated for treating pain, fever, headache, dental pain, postoperative pain, and osteoarthritis in pediatric and younger patient populations. The product has been approved since 1996 and remains a widely used over-the-counter analgesic.
As an OTC product with approaching loss of exclusivity and moderate competitive pressure (30), brand teams face declining marketing investment and limited headcount expansion opportunities.
