Shift: 12 hour rotating shift (6AM-6PM). Scheduled to work 7-days in a 14-day period (2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2off, 3 on, 2 off - every other weekend is scheduled off)

Job Description
The warehouse worker is required to operate all material handling equipment such as propane and electric forklifts, stretch wrappers, electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks.
Has working knowledge of warehouse stock locator systems, bar code system, and electronic scanners, parts and catalog, and computer systems.
Moves stock and rotates materials according to FIFO for incoming and outgoing material.
Arrange material in the warehouse as per KanBan bin requirements. Replenishes departments using Scanners and KanBan system.
Assists in company physical inventories and cycle counts.
Required to cross-train in different warehouse areas such as receiving, shipping, production warehouse, sterilization, UPS/small package duties requiring the warehouse worker to work eight (8), ten (10) or twelve (12) hour shifts, including weekends.
This person will support the warehouse supervisor and coordinators for the daily operations and overall performance.
Basic Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities, projects.

Essential Functions:
Accurately perform all replenishment functions in the warehouse (IV, Scrub, Etc) using scanners and inventory management systems.
Accurately perform responsibilities for team members in times of absence or vacation.
Accurately process returned raw material from production. (Returns)
Accurately perform warehouse cycle counts.
Accurately receive raw materials or finished goods product, using computer software systems. Retrieve packing slip or product transfer record from incoming materials. Verify quantity, part number, P.O. number and vendor lot number against packing slip or product transfer record. Verify freight BOL and note any damages or shortages.
Prepare substitute packing slips if necessary.
Perform receipt transactions in inventory management systems. (SAP, Datalan)
Accurately perform build function for materials received using Datalan system and Kanban cards.
Prepare outbound shipments, verify quantities, lot numbers and part numbers to be shipped, document on load sheet, prepare pallets with slip-sheets, stretch wrap and load, calculating correct cube and weights.
Properly package outbound packages for shipment to prevent damage and loss.
Accurately perform shipment transactions in inventory management systems. (SAP, Datalan).
Perform shipment transactions using 3rd party software. (FedEx, UPS, Etc.)
Responsible for ensuring shift goals are met (5S, Returns, Kanban cards scanned and sorted).
Maintain a clean work area and keep organized at all times.
Responsible for ensuring safety, security, and quality processes are followed.
Responsible for ensuring warehouse equipment is maintained and in good operating condition, escalate issues to Supervisor.
Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous waste regulations.
Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles
Communicate in an effective, timely, and appropriate manner to all associates (i.e. peers, support teams and management) including escalating issues.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, updating PVD boards, lean lite, KAS, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum Experience:
Experience in Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics.
Basic computer skills.
Can effectively work in a team setting and communicate effectively across the department.
Must be able to become licensed Forklift operator and, maintain equipment certification at all times.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Forklift experience
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in medical device manufacturing.
Previous forklift experience/certification
The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.
