Job Description
About the role:
Plan and execute assigned technology transfers, lifecycle management projects, launch readiness activities, and strategic MSAT programs from initiation through implementation
Coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain integrated plans, manage risks and issues, and deliver milestones with discipline and transparency
Connect science, technical strategy, manufacturing readiness, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and execution to support reliable product supply and successful launches
Apply a role interchangeable across EU, US, and Asia TT&PM teams, adjusting only geography, portfolio, reporting line, and local stakeholder context as needed.
How you will contribute:
Lead planning and execution of assigned commercial, late-stage, or lifecycle transfers through integrated transfer plans, milestone tracking, action management, governance preparation, and readiness reviews
Maintain integrated project plans, critical paths, dependencies, decision logs, risk registers, issue logs, and communication plans
Coordinate MSAT, modality teams, sites, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Engineering, Development/PharmSci, external partners, and enabling functions, building trusted relationships and alignment on scope, timelines, roles, decision rights, and expectations
Identify, document, escalate, and drive mitigation of risks and issues affecting timelines, quality, supply, regulatory readiness, or business outcomes
Coordinate Tech Transfer Plans, Tech Transfer Protocols, comparability/readiness materials, governance updates, action trackers, and closeout documentation using TT Standardization & Program Excellence templates
Support engineering runs, PPQ readiness, validation planning, regulatory filing readiness, site readiness, and post-transfer stabilization with accountable technical and quality functions
Provide clear, concise, timely communications, status updates, escalation summaries, decision requests, and portfolio inputs
Prepare and support program-level steering and operating committees, team meetings, stage gates, and readiness forums, escalating beyond program scope to the Regional Head/Lead
Apply standard TT&PM tools, templates, reporting mechanisms, and knowledge management practices, feeding lessons learned back to TT Standardization & Program Excellence rather than creating local variants
Support digital and data-enabled tool adoption to improve visibility, knowledge transfer, action tracking, risk management, and execution speed.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, project management, or a related scientific/technical discipline; advanced degree or project management certification preferred.
5–10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, MSAT, CMC, process development, technology transfer, program management, quality, supply chain, or a related technical function.
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects or workstreams in a regulated/GMP environment.
Working knowledge of technology transfer, manufacturing readiness, validation/PPQ concepts, change control, risk management, regulatory/quality interfaces, and lifecycle management.
Strong project management discipline, organization, follow-up, meeting facilitation, and action tracking.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, site teams, and senior stakeholders; ability to translate complexity into concise actions and decisions.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills in a matrix environment; ability to drive progress without direct authority.
Growth mindset and willingness to adopt standard tools, digital practices, and continuous improvement approaches.
