The Supply Chain Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, with a primary focus on Procurement and Supplier performance. This strategic leader is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, optimizing the supply base, mitigating risks, and ensuring the highest standards of supplier quality. The role works cross-functionally with other departments to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence while aligning with the company’s long-term development goals.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
Oversee and coordinate the overall operations of the Procurement and Supplier Quality departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with other business units.
Assist the General Manager in formulating the company's medium and long-term development plans.
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies and strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize the supply chain and minimize supply chain risks.
Engage all team members in management activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback and establishing robust internal policies and regulations.
Procurement & Cost Management:
Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and quality developments for raw materials.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives through effective negotiation, price benchmarking, and strategic sourcing to improve product quality while lowering procurement costs.
Supplier & Quality Management:
Lead the development and evaluation of potential new suppliers.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive supplier evaluation system, including performance metrics, and manage the improvement or phase-out of non-performing suppliers.
Supervise daily operations within the department, identifying areas for improvement in procurement processes and supplier quality management, and driving corrective actions.
Team & Performance Management:
Manage and mentor department teams, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and optimizing resource allocation.
Continuously refine the performance appraisal system and conduct effective performance communication to enhance team productivity.
Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and present accurate statistical reports and departmental KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Develop and manage the annual departmental budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Ensure all departmental activities strictly comply with ISO9001 (Quality Management) and ISO45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards and policies.
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned by President.
