Staff Supply Network & Capacity Planning Specialist, Advanced Therapies

We are seeking a Staff Supply Network and Capacity Planning Specialist supporting Advanced Therapies, to join our IOPS Supply Chain team, performing global production allocations and analyzing multi-site production capacity to integrate manufacturing-impactful activities and business initiatives. In this role, you will translate global demand requirements into site production and multi-asset allocation plans, drive long-term planning, and serve as a key liaison across CMC Program Management, Regulatory Sciences, Operations, and Finance — while mentoring team members and influencing strategy across the organization. • Work model: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Discover your role:

• Translate global demand requirements into site production and multi-asset allocation plans, efficiently identifying, solutioning, and escalating conflicts while developing multiple draft scenarios for leadership consideration
• Build and maintain capacity models to forecast future needs, including product and asset lifecycle management; lead long-term planning efforts to identify and flag potential business risks
• Serve as liaison between CMC Program Management, Regulatory Sciences, Operations, Finance, and Supply Planning to keep plans aligned with program and supply timelines
• Anticipate issues before they materialize and drive solutions to minimize disruption to production and supply; act as primary point of contact for global production data across cross-functional departments
• Influence and set strategy for production-impactful change management efforts, including determining implementation windows to minimize rework, increase efficiency, and maximize business value
• Create, review, and present routine informational reports to cross-functional audiences; identify opportunities to improve communication and collaboration across functional groups and organizational levels
• Act as subject matter expert for assigned programs and areas of specialty; mentor and provide technical and functional guidance to specialists and other team members supporting global production allocations

This role requires:

• BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering/Science discipline or related field required
• Principal Specialist: 8+ years of experience
• Staff Specialist: 10+ years of experience
• Master's degree (MBA, MS Supply Chain, or life sciences) and/or APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus 
• Relevant biotech manufacturing or supply chain management experience is a plus
• May consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role
