DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll join a collaborative team making a meaningful impact on global health, environmental protection, and scientific advancement. As a Sr Sales Training Specialist, you'll develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that enable our commercial teams to excel. Working closely with marketing, product management, and sales leadership, you'll create engaging curriculum across multiple formats to drive sales effectiveness and growth. This role offers the opportunity to enhance sales enablement while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree with 3-5 years experience in commercial job function, sales training, marketing, or sales preferred. Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Education, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field

  • Sales training, development and facilitation, preferably in life sciences, healthcare or diagnostics

  • Professional certifications in sales methodologies (Miller Heiman, SPIN, etc.) highly valued

  • Instructional design certification beneficial

  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles

  • Strong proficiency with learning management systems (Docebo, Brainshark) and content creation tools (Articulate, Camtasia)

  • Experience developing blended learning programs including e-learning, virtual instructor-led, and in-person training

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for both virtual and classroom settings

  • Project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and digital learning technologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex technical content into engaging training materials

  • Experience with sales methodologies and processes

  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to influence without direct authority

  • Experience working across global matrix organization

  • Ability to travel 20-40% for training delivery and field accompaniment

  • Demonstrated success in measuring and analyzing training effectiveness

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred location at one of our main sites in Freiburg, Germany or Uppsala, Sweden, but open to other locations and remote working.
