This is an opportunity to shape how intelligent supply chain planning operates across Moderna’s global network, connecting planning needs with business processes, trusted data and technology to improve reliability, reduce manual work and enable better decisions. As an individual contributor with significant global reach, you’ll act as business product and portfolio owner for a defined set of intelligent planning capabilities, translating complex opportunities into prioritized roadmaps, clear requirements and measurable outcomes.

Working across Planning, Digital, Data, manufacturing sites and other business partners, you’ll mobilize expertise and coordinate delivery from concept through sustainable adoption. Your initial portfolio will span planning master-data quality and governance, the Planner Help Hub, Advanced Scenario Planning, and Moderna’s cross-site scheduling and SAP extended Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (ePPDS) roadmap. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify and advance automation, analytics and AI-enabled planning, including opportunities to get closer to Generative AI tools that can improve decision support and reduce repetitive work.

Here's What You'll Do:

• Own the business roadmap and prioritized backlog for assigned intelligent planning capabilities, defining the problems to solve, expected benefits, success measures and delivery priorities in partnership with business sponsors and process owners.
• Translate planner and stakeholder needs into robust business requirements, process designs and acceptance criteria. Partner with Digital, SAP and Data teams to assess solution options and ensure capabilities fit Moderna’s wider planning landscape.
• Drive delivery across functions by establishing milestones, owners, dependencies and decision points. Coordinate internal teams and external partners, remove barriers and escalate decisions requiring sponsor support.
• Lead planning master-data quality improvements alongside relevant business and data owners, establishing critical data requirements, monitoring, exception reporting and remediation routines, and validating that improvements translate into more reliable planning outcomes.
• Develop the Planner Help Hub as a sustainable support and enablement channel, establishing intake, triage, ownership, escalation and knowledge-management practices while using recurring issues to continuously improve processes, guidance and digital capabilities.
• Drive the rollout and continued development of Advanced Scenario Planning, coordinating the end-to-end process from scenario intake and creation through analysis, costing, approval and implementation, supported by clear governance, training and business ownership.
• Shape Moderna’s cross-site scheduling strategy and ePPDS roadmap. Assess site needs and existing tools, align stakeholders around requirements, coordinate feasibility studies and pilots, and recommend a phased approach based on business value and readiness.
• Lead adoption and change activities across the global remit, including stakeholder engagement, communications, practical training, user acceptance testing and readiness assessments. Partner with planning leaders, subject-matter experts and digital champions to embed sustainable new ways of working.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate repetitive work, strengthen decision support and apply analytics, AI and Generative AI capabilities where appropriate. Partner with technical specialists to evaluate and implement solutions through approved platforms and appropriate controls.
• Track delivery, adoption and benefits using agreed measures such as planning-data quality, issue resolution, utilization of digital capabilities and reduction in manual effort. Apply feedback and evidence to refine priorities and demonstrate sustained business value.
• Maintain clear process, decision, training and support documentation, establishing enduring ownership and handover arrangements while following applicable change-control, validation, data-integrity and information-security requirements with relevant experts.
• Support GxP-relevant planning systems and processes, bringing appropriate rigor to digital enablement within a regulated environment.
• Work across global time zones as part of the role’s worldwide remit. Working arrangements are day shift.
• Perform additional duties as assigned from time to time.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 5 years relevant experience in supply chain planning, planning systems, digital transformation or business product ownership, including delivery of improvements involving both business and technology teams.
• Working knowledge of supply planning and its dependencies on master data, manufacturing capacity, inventory and connected business processes.
• Experience with SAP planning or comparable enterprise planning systems, and the ability to translate business needs into requirements, priorities and acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate delivery across functions, manage dependencies and influence stakeholders without relying on direct reporting relationships.
• Experience supporting user adoption through training, communication, process improvement or change management, with evidence of measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain planning and technology topics clearly to different audiences. Professional proficiency in English and ability to collaborate across global time zones.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or another regulated manufacturing environment, including familiarity with GxP expectations, validation and change control.
• Familiarity with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP ERP planning processes, ePPDS, or integrations between planning, master-data and reporting platforms.
• Experience with planning master-data governance, data-quality monitoring, scenario planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), or manufacturing scheduling.
• Experience applying product-management, portfolio-management or agile delivery practices to business capabilities and digital solutions.
• Experience implementing workflow automation, analytics, low-code solutions or AI-enabled decision support in partnership with technical specialists.
• Experience building self-service support, knowledge resources, communities of practice or networks of business super-users and digital champions.
• Relevant ASCM/APICS, SAP, product-management, project-management or change-management certification.

• Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written) required due to global collaboration needs."
