Pfizer has created a new organization designed to lead portfolio marketing efforts in priority areas complementing brand teams by driving scale, consistency, and portfolio level impact.
What You Will Achieve
As the lead of this newly formed marketing team you will be accountable for the development, design and delivery of Pfizer’s US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing Strategy, leading a team of marketers focused on strategy and breakthrough execution at scale with two key focus areas: #1- vaccine external engagement and #2- vaccine implementation programs.
The US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing Lead oversees a marketing organization of 6 colleagues as direct reports who are focuses on portfolio external engagement and portfolio vaccine implementation programs.
Our portfolio approaches in these areas will complement brand strategies and executions, will maximize the Pfizer value proposition to customers and grow immunization rates in line with CDC/ACIP guidelines and brand strategies.
You will lead a cross-functional team leading with internal partners (Brand Teams, Field Teams, Medical, Retail & Access, Legal, Regulatory, Digital/Tech, Training, Marketing CoE) and leverage key external strategic partners to maximize budget/resources, driving best-in-class portfolio strategies and execution, while measuring performance and driving continuous improvement to exceed business objectives and immunization rate targets in specific disease areas.
Scope and impact
This work will have broad scope and impact working across every Pfizer brand/asset, all key customer segments, with the scale to deliver meaningful change in the external market which accelerates business objectives.
Key measures of success
Deployment of portfolio marketing campaigns with high impact on market, Scaling of existing and new implementation programs which increase immunization rates, Exceeding annual commercial objectives, Exceeding immunization rate growth targets.

Masters degree with 15+ years of sales / marketing pharmaceutical experiences
Vaccines sales / marketing experience
Health Information Technology, Population Based Decision Maker, KOL/EE/Professional Association marketing experiences
Experience leading, coaching, developing sales / marketing teams
Limited travel expectations: Travel may include attendance at sales meetings and field rides
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
