About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Operations, on the Commercial Effectiveness team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Operations & Planning Excellence, the role provides dedicated operational support across two brands within Insmed's respiratory therapeutic area. The position serves as a key collaborative partner to the marketing organization, with primary responsibilities spanning print production and fulfillment, the prioritization and streamlining of marketing materials through the Commercial Review Committee (CRC), and a broad range of additional commercial operational processes as business needs evolve. What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to communicate proactively, collaborate across multiple functions, and drive results through influence rather than direct authority. This role facilitates the smooth execution of deliverables that are frequently time-sensitive, confidential, and externally representative of Insmed — while maintaining alignment with management policies and broader business operations is maintained.
You'll also:
Serve as the strategic relationship owner for the print and fulfillment vendor, guiding day-to-day operations through clear expectations, accountability frameworks, and proactive issue resolution to sustain high service levels
Orchestrate inventory planning in partnership with brand teams — facilitating alignment on appropriate stock levels and driving timely retirement or destruction of outdated materials
Enable the end-to-end flow of approved promotional pieces from agency to vendor by easing handoffs, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on timelines and production standards
Ensure smooth cross-functional coordination around roster changes, resource updates, drop-shipments, and field communications to minimize disruption
Champion the development and governance of the ordering portal in partnership with IT and the vendor — coordinating design decisions, user feedback loops, and compliance requirements to ensure seamless experience for field teams
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by synthesizing vendor performance metrics, guiding process improvement discussions, and supporting contract or scope conversations with relevant stakeholders
Serve as the connection between Regulatory Affairs and brand teams — leading the establishment and refinement of processes that inform prioritization for weekly promotional review meetings
Enable proactive planning and milestone alignment by fostering close collaboration with marketing teams and agencies — ensuring early visibility into upcoming needs and ensuring adequate review time is built into plans well in advance of key milestones
Orchestrate the end-to-end review cycle — driving the coordination of timelines, submissions, and approvals so that materials move efficiently and predictably through review systems without unnecessary delays
Who You Are:
You have a Bachelors degree along with a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Operations within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
You are or you also have:
Proficiency with MS Office skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments and responsibilities, flexibility, strong communication and prioritization skills are essential
