Neuromodulation
Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
The Opportunity
Abbott is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst at our Austin, Texas location. This role will lead advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and insights to influence strategic decision-making and support organizational objectives.
What You’ll Work On
Responsible for the review and analysis of assigned projects for the US Neuromodulation Commercial Finance team. Some of this analysis includes the following:
Financial statements analysis
Pricing analysis
Gross Margin/COGS Analysis
Long-range planning analysis
Review and analysis of profitability
Journal Entry Preparation
Resource Allocation/Headcount Planning
Supply Chain/Global Demand Analytics
Applies educational and advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and requirements to support business needs.
Operates independently under general management direction; work is only reviewed to determine if desired results and objectives have been achieved.
Maintain controls to ensure integrity of assets and compliance with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and internal controls.
Projects can be varied and complex; may refer to established precedents to develop solutions; use of innovative thinking is required. Plans/leads projects and analyzes results to present recommendations to leadership.
Frequent inter-and intra-divisional collaborations; represents area as a prime contact on projects.
Support Area budgets and analysis.
Working directly with Area Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Directors, and others in the commercial organization to provide analysis and support.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or related finance functions; experience supporting a commercial sales organization is a plus.
Demonstrated track record of delivering insights, reporting, and business recommendations that influence management decision-making.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to approach challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The base pay for this position is
$78,000.00 – $156,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
