The Senior Director of Commercial training will drive and imbed a continuous learning and development culture to meet the evolving needs of the US commercial organization.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Training Leadership: Lead the learning and development strategy, creating a roadmap, and implementing programs, resources, and tools that strengthen and cultivate the necessary talent and skills to achieve Ferring’s strategic long-term objectives across a diverse portfolio of products in addition to leading the integration of Global HR Leadership Development programs across the US market.
Program Design and Implementation: Oversee the planning, development, and execution of curricula using a variety of methods and media, incorporating principles of instructional design and behavioral science to drive deeper engagement and maximize impact and productivity.
Team Management and Development: Lead and manage a training team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and knowledge sharing. Leads a team of training professionals across current and future therapeutic areas.
Measurement and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and measure training efficiency and effectiveness through feedback mechanisms, key performance indicators, and data analysis to ensure that training needs are addressed through continuous improvement and evolution of programs and materials.
Learning Platforms/Systems: Oversee selection and utilization of learning platforms and other tools to deliver training through a variety of methods and media, while leveraging technology-based solutions, where appropriate.
Collaboration and Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, HR, Medical, Regulatory, and Legal teams, to support development, approval and execution of training programs and resources, ensuring compliance with company policy as well as industry regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
BA/BS degree, Masters preferred
Demonstrated experience in training and development leadership and designing of training programs
Strong knowledge of learning/education solutions and related business process technologies
Minimum of 15 years of experience inclusive of sales, sales training, people leadership, learning and development, training or consulting in the pharmaceutical industry

Coach, and provide direction to trainees and other stakeholders while creating a positive and motivating environment

Effectively operates in an evolving, complex, and dynamic environment
Job Location: Located onsite in the Parsippany, NJ office, 4 days per week.
Travel: Ability to travel 25% of the time

Our Compensation and Benefits
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $233,000 to $277,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.
Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 15 paid holidays per year. Work Location:
This position is classified as a hybrid role, requiring onsite work at the Parsippany office four days per week and remotely for one day per week.
