As a Senior Associate in Procurement Operations, you will be central to shaping and optimizing Moderna’s core procurement platforms and processes (SAP, Ariba, MDG, ServiceNow), supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic global initiatives.</p><p><span>You will collaborate closely with Procurement, Digital, and Finance teams to enhance system functionality, support compliance activities, improve supplier enablement, and strengthen data quality across the Purchase-to-Pay lifecycle. This role is ideal for a systems-oriented procurement professional who enjoys problem-solving, operational execution, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, global environment. You will also have opportunities to explore automation and Generative AI tools to enhance reporting, training, and process efficiency.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Here’s What You’ll Do</span></b></p><p><span>Your key responsibilities will be:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Support the intake and tracking of system and process change requests within Procurement Operations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Execute catalog and supplier enablement activities in Ariba, including supplier onboarding support, integration testing, and catalog updates.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with Procurement Process Owners and Digital to contribute to functional design documentation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Review SAP/Ariba release notes to identify relevant updates and assess potential operational impacts.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participate in testing and validation of enhancements across SAP, Ariba, MDG, and ServiceNow.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain process documentation to support internal controls and audit readiness.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitor system performance in collaboration with Digital and escalate issues as appropriate.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Deliver user guidance and support training sessions for global stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use data and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for operational improvement.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Your responsibilities will also include:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Contribute to project activities within Procurement Operations and Vendor Master Data domains.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support local and global initiatives aimed at improving process efficiency and data accuracy.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Apply established procurement data standards and support data governance efforts.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and Digital.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Prepare reports and summaries for stakeholders to support informed decision-making.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal and external partners.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Expand technical knowledge of procurement system architecture and identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled tools for operational enhancements.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>The key Moderna Mindsets you’ll need to succeed in the role:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>“We digitize everywhere possible using the power of code to maximize our impact on patients.”<br />In this role, your ability to translate procurement process challenges into digital solutions (via SAP, Ariba, MDG, or ServiceNow) — and ultimately harness automation or AI-driven insights — will directly accelerate operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability.</span></p></li><li><p><span>“We behave like owners. You’ll own projects end-to-end, advocate for user experience, and elevate data quality and governance — all while anticipating future needs of a growing, global Procurement function.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree</p></li><li><p>3+ years of experience in Procurement Operations or related functions</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience working with SAP and/or Ariba</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting system enhancements, implementations, or process improvement initiatives</p></li><li><p>Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
