You will develop and execute a territory sales strategy for Malaysia to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets. Varian's hardware (e.g., Linear Accelerators, Brachytherapy) and software as part of ONE solution offer (e.g., Treatment Planning Systems, Oncology Information Systems) portfolio.
You will lead the complete capital equipment sales cycle including opportunity identification, qualification, solution configuration, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
You will cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders including Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Hospital C-level Executives, and Ministry of Health (MOH) officials.
You will act as the primary Varian representative, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and a deep understanding of the clinical and technical aspects of radiation therapy to establish credibility and trust.
You will manage public and private tender processes with precision and integrity, ensuring all submissions are compliant, competitive, and strategically positioned to win.

You will maintain a robust and accurate sales funnel using CRM tools and provide reliable sales forecasts.
You will collaborate with Clinical Applications, Service, Project Management, and Finance teams to deliver seamless customer engagement.
You will act as the internal voice of the customer by sharing market insights and competitor intelligence.
You develop long‑term strategic account plans for key oncology centers in Malaysia.
You will serve as the voice of the customer internally, providing critical market and competitor feedback to influence business strategy.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
You hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Radiation Therapy, or a relevant scientific/business discipline. A clinical background combined with commercial experience is highly advantageous.
You have 3-5 years of demonstrable success in a sales role, specifically with high-value medical capital equipment.
Your experience in the Radiation Oncology/Therapy market is strongly preferred.
You have a proven, consistent track record of exceeding a million-dollar sales targets within the Malaysian healthcare market. The nature of the business should be project based.
You have in-depth knowledge of the Malaysian healthcare ecosystem, including public (MOH) and private procurement processes.
You have an existing network of contacts within the Malaysian oncology community, which will be a significant advantage.
You are proficient in Malay and English both written and spoken to communicate with our local Customers and global Colleagues.
You are self-driven, motivated and have a positive work attitude and must be a Team player.
You have excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint).
