Coordination of repairs to align with production timelines, considering the availability of machines, materials, and workforce. Ferring US is also Great Places to Work® Certified, distinguishing it as one of the best companies to work for in the country. </div><div> </div><div>Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Acts as the primary source of contact for the 3rd shift team; day-to-day service of production equipment</li><li>Provides mechanical support for production machines by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and executing necessary repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.</li><li>Prepares detailed reports and logs to inform department management, production operations, and all shifts of ongoing repairs, issues, and potential solutions.</li><li>Conducts line changeovers, performing required set-up and adjustments according to the production schedule.</li><li>Assists the Engineering team with equipment installations and modifications.</li><li>Performs preventative maintenance inspections, including oiling, lubrication, and routine equipment checks.</li><li>Maintain training and quality requirements set forth by the business.</li><li>Coordinate maintenance and repair work with vendors.</li><li>Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and allocate resources effectively to maximize line output</li><li>Adheres to company safety and quality guidelines and ensures direct reports are following those guidelines.</li><li>Escalation of maintenance issues and potential events to the Senior Manager of maintenance and other related key members.</li><li>Promote a collaborative and customer service-oriented team environment.</li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Requirements: </div><div><ul><li>Technical school, bachelor’s degree or other related training in related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated field.</li><li>Experience in biotech manufacturing, a GMP facility and/or ISO 13485 environment, preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)</li><li>Experience working in manufacturing plant environment</li><li>Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and P&IDs.</li><li>Working knowledge and experience with MS Suite.</li><li>Weekend and off-shift work may be required to support production demands. Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, is essential to ensure consistent manufacturing operations.</li></ul></div><div>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing plant and cleanroom environment for extended periods.</li><li>Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Comfortable reaching overhead and climbing ladders or steps to access equipment or perform maintenance tasks.</li><li>Regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch, or kneel to access hard-to-reach areas during inspections or repairs.</li><li>Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with controlled air quality and follow gowning and hygiene protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles.</li><li>Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work long hours, including shifts, weekends, or emergencies as needed.</li><li>Ability to work in temperature-controlled cleanrooms and occasionally in non-controlled environments within the facility.</li><li>Capacity to respond quickly and effectively to equipment malfunctions or plant emergencies.</li></ul>Role will be in Parsippany, NJ. </div><div>Ferring + you </div><div>At Ferring, we offer competitive total compensation along with an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work. The base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. If hired to work 3rd shift in this role, the pay differential will be 20%. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance. </div><div> </div><div>Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 15 paid holidays per year.
