To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Reynosa.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager the Manufacturing Engineer’s role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
Respond quickly to equipment failures; troubleshoot and restore production with minimum downtime.
Lead and support continuous-improvement projects that increase OEE and reduce downtime.
Diagnose and resolve abnormal issues across integrated systems — PLC, vision, robotics, motion control and smart devices.
Carry out minor adjustments and tuning within validated lines (e.g., sensor replacement, control-logic tuning).
Support integration changes driven by equipment obsolescence and by new smart equipment.
Maintain and manage all production automation software in SVN (LabVIEW, Beckhoff TwinCAT, SAIA PLC) — applying and version-controlling existing software, not developing new software.
Apply a structured root-cause approach to issues; when the root cause is a software bug, capture it clearly and provide structured feedback to the HQ PLC / control-design team.
Troubleshoot and analyze problems to improve product quality and meet customer requirements
Provide on-site production technical guidance and on-the-job training for production line staff.
Strengthen plant-to-plant technical feedback loops so learnings are shared and repeated issues are avoided.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Advanced English.
Clear communication in English and Spanish, including structured technical feedback to central engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation or related).
System-level troubleshooting across PLC, vision, robotics, motion control and smart devices.
Working knowledge of PLC platforms (Beckhoff TwinCAT, SAIA) and LabVIEW for diagnosis, tuning and minor adjustments — not new development.
Robotics and integrated automation systems.
Industrial protocols and networking (e.g., EtherCAT, Modbus), HMI / SCADA and motion control.
Awareness of firmware and device-compatibility challenges smart equipment.
