Responsible for site performance to achieve key performance indicators.</p><p></p><div><p><b><u>POSITION REQUIREMENTS:</u></b></p></div><ul><li>Liaison with UK Plant for guidance to support customer needs.</li><li>Safety, Health &amp; Environmental Oversight: Lead and sustain a Zero Incident / World-Class Safety culture. Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations, maintain audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement in Environmental, Health, and Safety performance. Accountable for incident reporting, investigation, corrective actions, required training, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance programs at each facility.</li><li>Manage Operating Budget </li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Inventory:<ul><li>Work with both Supply Chain and Master Planner/Scheduler to maintain raw material stock / reorder levels. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory levels including cycle counts and annual physical inventory</li></ul></li><li>Production:<ul><li>Work with Master Planner/Scheduler on fulfilling production requirements.</li><li>Accountable for production quality. </li><li>Maintain MRO spending budget. </li><li>Implement Lean Manufacturing improvements where needed. </li></ul></li><li>Maintenance: <ul><li>Direct maintenance department activities to ensure maximum uptime.</li><li>Ensure preventative maintenance schedule is adhered to. </li></ul></li><li>Shipping &amp; Receiving<ul><li>Oversee shipping &amp; receiving department to maximum cost efficiency and ensure on-time delivery.</li></ul></li><li>Maintain plant cleanliness &amp; organization in accordance with 5s methodology. </li><li>Employee Management: <ul><li>Maintain appropriate staffing levels in accordance with production needs</li><li>Responsible for approving employee work schedules/time/attendance.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with performance management/attendance policy</li><li>Develop team members using STEP program and other developmental tools</li></ul></li><li><span>Perform additional projects, duties or assignments as directed by management. </span></li></ul><div><p></p></div><div><p><b><u>QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:</u></b></p></div><ul><li>College degree in business or engineering, or related experience required.    </li><li>Supervisory experience in a manufacturing, fabrication and/or machine shop environment required.</li><li>Lean manufacturing background preferred. </li></ul><div><ul><li>Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).</li><li>ERP/MRP software experience needed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul></div><ul><li>Ability to manage, direct, and motivate a team.</li><li>Ability to multitask and set priorities</li><li>Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li></ul><div><ul><li>Minimal travel required.</li></ul></div><ul><li>Valid Driver’s License preferred</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span>.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
