Safely perform the duties required to operate and control the Pilger Mills to reduce the shells from the press into workable tube that can be drawn down into marketable product.  Operator must know the status of the process at all times. Has decision making responsibilities on matters pertaining to the safe and normal production operation of the Pilger Mills.

Operator will safely perform safe start-up checks at the beginning of the shift. Maintain visual and mental concentration at all times to ensure safe and efficient 

operation of the Pilger Mills. Utilize monitors and control panels to safely run copper through the Pilger Mills. Grease dies at the middle and at the end of shift to maintain lubrication in the bearings while running.

Safely shutdown machine at end of shift and week. Safely perform housekeeping

duties as required.

This is a 1st shift position. 6 am-4 pm
