Job Summary
The Operations Manager, Service & Repair is responsible for the end-to-end execution of service center activities for the US, based in Riverview, Florida. This is a three-shift operation. This role orchestrates the technical repair workforce, engineering support, and localized planner/buyer support to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensure regulatory compliance for medical device refurbishment and service and repair.
Responsibilities
Oversee the entire service and repair operation (end to end) for US market.
Develop the planning strategy to meet customer service levels by maintaining total turnaround times under target.
Analyze site capacity considerations and reach in a timely manner on critical issues.
Supervise Service Technicians, team leads ensure clear directions are communicated based on manufacturing objectives.
Ensure effective staffing of organization to meet service/refurbishment requirements and flexibility.
Meet internal and external customer needs in a manner that provides customer satisfaction through the effective use of resources.
Strive to improve the skills of associates by providing clear performance expectations, specific feedback on behaviors, effective coaching, and mentoring, identifying, and providing developmental opportunities, and accurate, timely performance appraisals.
Manage / Oversee in conjunction with buyer planner materials, logistics and product lead times to make sure service levels are met.
Work closely with R&D, Engineering, EHS, Materials and Quality to coordinate product introduction and sustaining changes.
Provide technical support in incident investigations (NCR, CAPAs) to evaluate problems, determine root causes, and provide corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Manage multiple projects, tasks, and timelines to meet objectives.
Create and deploy appropriate communications channels for productions and supply chain information.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all KPIs.
Interact with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and company policies. This is inclusive of training, Non-conformance investigation etc.
Demonstrate a commitment to Operational Excellence through fostering and promoting an environment of continuous improvement, learning, accountability and engagement.
May require domestic and international travel on an as needed basis to support operational activities.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering), or equivalent work experience, preferred
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred; Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) a plus
Prior experience in manufacturing, regulated industries, or manufacturing service environments, preferred
SAP experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $174,115
