The Business Planning & Integrations Lead plays a critical role within Oncology Late‑Stage Development (OLSD), providing best‑in‑class strategic and operational support to advance the organization’s mission and priorities. This role brings strong scientific expertise, communication skills, and industry knowledge to support the Head of OLSD and the OLSD Leadership Team with the insights and information needed to drive strategic imperatives and maximize investment impact.
The Business Planning & Integrations Lead drives high‑priority initiatives and time‑bound teams to identify opportunities to enhance, streamline, and strengthen OLSD operations, while representing OLSD in cross‑functional efforts across the enterprise. The role is also responsible for developing and delivering compelling strategic and scientific narratives for both internal stakeholders and external audiences, including collaborators and the broader scientific community.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Partner closely with the Head of OLSD Business Planning & Integrations and the OLSD Leadership Team to shape, refine, and communicate strategic priorities and lead targeted, time‑bound initiatives.
Drive execution of OLSD strategy by leading or representing OLSD on cross‑functional teams across R&D, Finance, CSI, PDA, and external collaborators.
Leverage scientific and business expertise to develop clear, compelling internal and external presentations and materials for diverse audiences, from scientific experts to senior executives.
Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis to develop frameworks, insights, and recommendations that inform decision‑making and identify new opportunities for OLSD.
Coordinate timely, high‑quality responses to strategic and content‑related requests from the Head of OLSD and senior leadership.
Monitor emerging oncology trends, industry developments, and external sentiment to inform strategy and positioning.
Evolve OLSD resource management practices to ensure effective delivery of the late‑stage oncology portfolio.
Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree (MS/PhD/PharmD) in a scientific discipline (preferred).
6+ years relevant biopharmaceutical experience, including 2+ years in management consulting and/or biopharma in-house strategy.
Strong knowledge of biopharma and drug development; ability to translate complex information into strategic insights and recommendations.
Proven experience leading complex strategic projects and influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills; experience creating executive-ready briefing materials and presentations.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coaching and mentoring others to drive excellence in project management and outcomes.
Proven ability to anticipate trends, assess future implications, and develop competitive, forward‑looking strategies.
Strong emotional intelligence, including the ability to adapt approach, influence effectively, and manage conflict constructively.
Demonstrated success working collaboratively across a broad spectrum of POD and cross‑functional relationships.
