We learn, grow and win together. </span></p><p><span>Are you ready to help change the world?</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>Apart from job satisfaction, we can offer you:</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>HEALTH: </b><br />- Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for you and your family, including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)</p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>YOURSELF</b>:<br />- Paid time off policy including holidays and sick time<br />- Internal growth and development programs & trainings</p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>WEALTH: </b><br />401(k) program, life & accident insurance and disability insurance</p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>About the role</b></p><p>This is an onsite role that provides direct office management and laboratory management support for Perceptive’s Needham office in Massachusetts.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Needham Site Administrative support</b></p><ul><li>Serve as the first point of contact for onsite visitors and customers, ensuring professional and welcoming experience.</li><li>Manage incoming and outgoing office mail, including sorting and distribution.</li><li>Coordinate meeting room scheduling and ensure rooms are properly prepared for internal and external meetings.</li><li>Support site logistics, including organizing local events, coordinating catering and owning the guest management systems (i.e. HybridHero/Greetly) for the Needham office.</li><li>Order and maintain office supplies, including stationery and general office materials.</li><li>Oversee kitchen supply inventory, restocking as needed, and coordinate office lunches and team meals.</li><li>Support HR with onboarding activities, including new hire preparation and orientation logistics.</li><li>Assist with social committee initiatives and employee engagement activities.</li><li>Support Operations, Facilities, IT, and HR teams in developing and distributing company-wide communications to ensure employees are informed and connected to key resources.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Laboratory Support</b></p><ul><li>Provide administrative and clerical support to Discovery Lab Leadership.</li><li>Support office and lab procurement processes, including purchasing and vendor coordination.</li><li>Assist with project coordination to support lab operations and study execution.</li><li>Provide shipping and receiving support for lab materials, supplies, and study-related items.</li><li>Work with lab management team to manage inventory and ordering of lab consumables to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.</li><li>Provide finance and budget support related to lab operations, including tracking expenses and coding invoices.</li></ul><p><b>Other</b></p><ul><li>Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills)</b></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to identify and implement process improvements.</li><li>Cross-functional coordination (Operations, Facilities, IT, HR)</li></ul><p></p><p>Experience, Education, and Certifications</p><ul><li>High School degree/some college or trade school preferred</li><li>2 - 5 years of transferable work or educational experience</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to solve problems effectively; think critically and work independently to solutions</li><li>A demonstrated track record of proactivity/desire to get the job done</li><li>Professional and friendly attitude; excellent communication skills – a “people person”</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn company-specific computer systems</li><li>Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills</li><li>Highly professional attitude along with ability to multi-task and pivot focus effectively</li><li>Ability to be hands-on, function independently, and take ownership in an innovative work environment</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>This role is based in the Perceptive office located in Needham, MA. The hourly pay range for this role is $22 - $42/hr.
