Together, we are making a difference in the lives of patients around the world.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>WORK SHIFT</b></p>NIGHT (United States of America)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>SUMMARY OF DUTIES</b></p>This position is responsible for daily activities of Molding Operators, including the training (TWI) of Molding personnel and performing verifications of startup inspections on the molding floor.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED</p><p></p><p>1.    Helps coordinate the daily activities of Molding Operators, this includes training (TWI), performing verifications of startups inspections on the molding floor, and providing feedback to Operators. <br />2.    Performs training responsibilities with Procedures, Startup Inspections, Molding Orientation Training, TWI Elements.<br />3.    Ensures all materials, tooling, documentation and measurement equipment are available and accurate for production.<br />4.    Ensures all documentation is properly completed and filed.<br />5.    Ensures the following operational tasks are completed for Line clearance, Start-up dimensions, and Hourly inspections.<br />6.    Communicates with Molding Operators, Technicians, other Leads, supervisor and management concerning work related and other matters.<br />7.    Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices are being complied with by confirming that all procedures and specifications are met.<br />8.    Provides feedback to employees, assigns work and ensures the proper and efficient completion of assignments and processes.<br />9.    In the supervisor’s absence, may provide work direction to employees.<br />10.    Gives feedback and input to the Supervisor for the employee’s performance evaluation.<br />11.    Determines when molded parts are/aren&#39;t in conformance and whether to run or shut down.<br />12.    Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.<br />   <br />ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS</p><p></p><p>•    Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply.<br />•    Writing<br />•    Sitting<br />•    Standing<br />•    Bending<br />•    Vision<br />•    Color perception<br />•    Depth perception<br />•    Reading<br />•    Field of vision/peripheral<br />•    Fine motor skills<br />•    Noise<br />•    Chemical vapors</p><p></p><p>SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p><p></p><p>•    Education equivalent to a high school diploma.<br />•    Five years of related work experience, with a minimum of two years in molding, one year of related leadership experience preferred.<br />•    Ability to read and understand written instructions.<br />•    Ability to follow and give oral instructions.<br />•    Ability to learn about and remember key information about parts molded in the department.<br />•    Ability to determine when a part is or isn&#39;t in conformance and whether to run or shut down.<br />•    Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform manual tasks requiring some fine motor skills.<br />•    Demonstrated effective communication and human relation skills.<br />•    Ability to effectively coordinate the daily work activities of personnel and provide performance feedback to supervisor.<br />•    Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.</p><p> <br />COMPETENCIES</p><p></p><p>•    Safety compliance<br />•    GMP auditing<br />•    Personnel training<br />•    Material/equipment documentation<br />•    Process auditing<br />•    Molding documentation</p><p></p><p>COMMENTS</p><p></p><p>Infectious Control Risk Category III:</p><p></p><p>The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs.  Risk category III states employment and procedures that do not require exposure.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>As an eligible Merit employee, you can expect the following:</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">* Multiple Shifts and Hours to choose from: Days, Swing (Eve), and Nights</p><p style="text-align:left">* Medical/Dental &amp;
