About AstraZeneca
AstraZeneca is a global, science-led, patient-focused biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialisation of prescription medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases. But we’re more than one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies
Business Area
Taking a forward-looking approach we look at the world through a different lens. We go above and beyond to find solutions that impact patients – harnessing science with technology and connecting the entire healthcare ecosystem.
We live in a hybrid space – one foot in the scientific world, the other partnering with the business. This is a place for strong communicators, resilient and fast-paced, who bring new ideas to the table then make them a reality.
We are currently looking for a Medical Science Liaison/Medical Advisor to play a leading role in our Oncology team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
The role is responsible for being the first point of contact for any medical/scientific aspect or issue related to the assigned oncology products and therapy area by engaging in Scientific Exchange with AstraZeneca teams, Key External Experts, Health Care Professionals, and Clinical Investigators. The role engages with external experts to identify medical unmet needs, evidence gaps and gain insight, and delivers presentations in a non-promotional scientific context as determined by the global / local Medical Affairs plans. For this position, the successful candidate will have hybrid responsibilities (50% field based; 50% office based with medical affairs responsibilities).
