Are you?</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>About the Role:</b></p>We’re looking for a Medical Science Liaison on the Field Medical team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Head MSL, DACH Region, you’ll develop and maintain professional relationships with external healthcare practitioners to provide comprehensive medical and scientific support for Insmed assigned therapeutic areas. The MSL engages appropriately in scientific exchanges around product information, disease education, and research ideas/activities with physicians and ancillary healthcare professionals regarding current and future therapies in development or commercialized by Insmed. <br>This position is field based and located to North Bavaria & Thuringia.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What You'll Do:</b></p><p>In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to <span>work closely with Insmed personnel to ensure adequate training and alignment between Insmed’s medical affairs plans and work cross-functionally with Commercial colleagues (Key Account Managers/Sales) to coordinate proper response to customer's scientific and medical needs. </span></p><p>You'll also:</p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain professional relationships with external healthcare practitioners to provide comprehensive medical and scientific support for Insmed assigned therapeutic areas.</p></li><li><p>Engage appropriately in scientific exchanges around product information, disease education, and research ideas/activities with physicians and ancillary healthcare professionals regarding current and future therapies in development or commercialized by Insmed.</p></li><li><p>Support the implementation of the Medical Affairs Plan including congresses, advisory boards, expert panels, scientific working groups and publications.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Insmed personnel to ensure adequate training, access to educational resources and alignment between Insmed’s medical affairs plans and the unmet needs of the patients and healthcare professionals.</p></li><li><p>Work cross-functionally with Commercial colleagues (Key Account Managers) to coordinate proper response to customer's scientific and medical needs.</p></li><li><p>Support research and development programs as requested by R&D, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs Departments. This may include trial site identification, ongoing recruitment motivation, and issue/problem solving.</p></li><li><p>Deliver and execute effective product and disease-state training and mentoring to internal Insmed colleagues.</p></li><li><p>Serve as a local medical and scientific resource to Insmed for product planning, clinical insights, and intelligence. </p></li><li><p>Capture, synthesize and deliver HCP derived scientific insights to Insmed.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Who You Are:</b></p><p>You have a Bachelors degree in science, e.g. biology, pharmacy, medicine, along with previous Medical Field experience of at least 3 years preferred.</p><p>You are or you also have:</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Residence within the designated region.</p></li><li><p>Broad knowledge and networking around pulmonology preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record delivering results in complex environments.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills in German and English (verbal and written).</p></li><li><p>Highly proficient in MS Office and knowledge in virtual communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or equal)</p></li><li><p>Ability to live and represent Insmed’s values: Respect, Passion, Integrity, Collaboration and Accountability.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Travel Requirements: </b>Up to 70% travel; some of which will be overnight and abroad.</p><p></p><p>#LI-TB1</p><p>#LI-Remote</p><p></p><p><b>Life at Insmed </b><br /> </p><p>At Insmed, you’ll find a culture as human as our mission—intentionally designed for the people behind it.
