Is responsible for leading the governance, planning oversight, execution, and continuous optimization of internal and external events with HCP participation, as well as key internal commercial meetings across LATAM.
This role ensures flawless end-to-end execution, delivering high-quality, compliant, and impactful event experiences that strengthen customer engagement and reinforce organizational alignment. The M&E Manager establishes robust governance frameworks to guarantee full adherence to corporate policies, local regulations, and industry compliance standards, ensuring all activities are audit-ready, risk-mitigated, and executed with operational excellence.
The M&E Manager leads a team of 1 Coordinator and 3 Analysts and is accountable for driving execution excellence, financial discipline, process standardization, and consistent delivery standards across the regional cluster.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Execution Excellence
Lead the end-to-end execution of all approved meetings and events across LATAM.
Ensure high-quality, well-executed events aligned with defined business objectives.
Maintain consistency, precision, and excellence in execution standards across all event types.
Safeguard participant experience, operational flow, and delivery quality at every stage.
Implement structured planning methodologies to ensure timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are consistently met.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate execution quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and industry codes governing HCP interactions and internal meetings.
Establish and enforce standardized approval workflows, documentation practices, and audit-ready processes.
Maintain strong financial and operational controls to mitigate risk exposure.
Oversee vendor adherence to contractual, ethical, and compliance standards.
Act as a control point to protect company reputation and regulatory integrity in all events.
Internal Commercial Meetings Oversight
Oversee the execution of key internal meetings, including sales conventions and leadership sessions.
Ensure internal events are delivered with operational excellence and aligned with defined business objectives.
Standardize execution frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across the cluster.
Guarantee logistical precision and seamless coordination across stakeholders.
Financial responsibility & Resource Optimization
Ensure cost-effective execution while maintaining premium quality standards.
Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
Monitor budget utilization and ensure disciplined financial management.
Identify synergies and efficiencies across countries to optimize resource allocation.
Cluster Standardization & Operational Excellence
Establish a unified execution model for Meetings & Events across LATAM.
Standardize tools, timelines, vendor management practices, and quality benchmarks.
Drive process simplification and operational efficiency.
Ensure scalability of execution standards across the cluster.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 1 Coordinator and 3 Analysts.
Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability standards.
Promote a culture of precision, ownership, and service excellence.
Develop team capabilities to strengthen execution quality and operational efficiency.
Ensure workload prioritization aligned with business needs and peak cycles.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in Meetings & Events, Commercial Operations, or Marketing Services, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proven experience managing large-scale HCP meetings, congresses, and internal commercial conventions.
Experience managing regional or multi-country scope preferred.
Strong experience in budget ownership, vendor management, and financial control.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
Experience operating within regulated environments with strong compliance oversight.
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese strongly preferred.
