- Filtration & Separation Division Manufacturing, 140 Sunnyholt Rd, Blacktown 2148 NSW
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Filtration & Separation Division, where you'll contribute to maintaining and operating critical facilities systems for filtration manufacturing. You'll ensure the reliable operation of the machine while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance in our GMP environment. You'll work with automated pulp making plant, injection moulding machine with 3-axis Robot, Utilities including Waste Water Treatment Plant, while documenting all work in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Electrical Preventive & breakdown maintenance
Electrical fault diagnosis & root cause analysis
Involve in project (incl. capital project) to support electrical-related work
Involve in Practical Process Improvement as electrical subject matter expert
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician with a valid NSW unrestricted electrical license.
Preferably having Forklift license (LF)
3-5 years industrial electrician
Preferably having experience in similar industry
Industrial Electrical System (Motors, VSD, MCC, Switchboards, Protection System, Cable Installation & Termination)
Automation & Control (PLC troubleshooting – mostly Allen-Bradley, networking basics – Ethernet/IP, Modbus, sensors, actuators, 3-axis Robot interfacing)
Preferably Experience with MEX Computerized Maintenance Management System
Able to use Elevated Work Platform & Working at Height
Able to perform LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out)
Standard working hours are 10:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday
Some on-call work may be required from time to time
Ability to occasionally wear and use Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) equipment.
