Job Description Summary

The Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating, executing, and monitoring daily logistics activities to ensure efficient inbound and outbound operations. This role supports transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and documentation processes to achieve on‑time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive strong customer focus by working closely with internal stakeholders, peers and cross functional on equipment deliveries, in-country part needs, planning, parts escalation, and inventory management.
  • Overcome roadblocks to ensure shipments are made in line with internal and external customers’ requirements, company policy, international trade regulations.
  • Trace and track international freight for urgent shipments, accelerate where possible and ensure mitigation of potential delays. 
  • Execute and monitor customs clearance for Import and Export for Parts / Equipment Distribution. Work closely with broker and engage appropriate functions (regulatory affairs, customs, engineering etc.) to provide supporting documents to enable clearance.
    • Understand HS code and tariff
    • Apply for import license during customs clearance (LPI, TISI, Excise Tax etc.)
  • Support domestic transportation and reverse logistics.
  • Roll out the global warehouse standards and optimize the warehouse operations.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and assist with cost review and 3PL invoice validation.
    • Responsible for On-Time Delivery, Cycle Time, Warehouse KPIs with a keen focus on continuous improvement
  • Prepare regular reports, support process improvement and cost saving initiatives.
  • Support other assignment delegated by Logistics Operations Manager.
     

Qualification and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in logistics operations, import/export processes, or supply chain management.
  • Strong expertise in logistics process (freight management, domestic and international transport, warehousing, and import/export regulations – particularly within ASEAN country.)
  • Practical experience with international trade and shipping incoterms, DG cargo, and warehouse management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken) and MS Office applications
