We do so via: <ul><li>Access – Providing high quality trusted medicines regardless of geography or circumstance;</li><li>Leadership – Advancing sustainable operations and innovative solutions to improve patient health; and </li><li>Partnership – Leveraging our collective expertise to connect people to products and services. </li></ul>Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Lead Material Handler role will make an impact:Key responsibilities for this role include:<ul><li>Verify quantities shipped or received to packing lists and purchase orders.</li><li>Deliver and receive incoming packages to specified locations.</li><li>Call trucking companies to schedule pickups.</li><li>Prepare and ship outgoing United Parcel Service (UPS) packages for shipment.</li><li>Maintain and generate Daily Shipping/Receiving Log on computer.</li><li>Package finished product for shipment.</li><li>Handle return shipments to suppliers.</li><li>Dispose of hazardous waste and maintain related documentation.</li><li>Load raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.</li><li>Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.</li><li>Order material needed in Shipping Department.</li><li>Verify quantities of materials shipped to and from Plants.</li><li>Perform physical inventories and labeling.</li><li>May serve as substitute Truck Driver if licensed.</li><li>Maintain hand trucks and forklifts if licensed.</li><li>Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard and strapping and places in proper containers or in designated areas.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>The minimum qualifications for this role are:<ul><li>Class A CDL required</li><li>Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. A High School diploma (or equivalent) is required; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.</li><li>Must possess knowledge of a forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrap bundler, boxes, tape and cardboard packaging material.</li><li>Must possess good communication, time management and organizational skills. Must possess competent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.</li><li>Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Ability to stoop, climb ladders, or stairs, stand or sit for extended periods of time. Requires long periods of standing; intermittent stooping and bending.</li><li>The position schedule will be 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., either Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday. The role includes 8 hours of Premium Pay, with employees receiving 4 additional hours of pay for every 36 hours worked.</li></ul>Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
