Your day at Ferring
Effectively manage a designated territory to promote Ferring Pharmaceutical's product range to Health care Professionals (HCP), Pharmacies and Institutions to build Ferring Pharmaceutical's business and contribute to the health and well-being of patients.
Meet and exceed designated product sales targets, market shares and growth projections.
Implement sales and marketing strategies and approved tactical execution in line with the marketing plan. Provide product and Territory Manager level support to HCPs and other designated Allied Health Professionals. Build rapport and professional business relationships with HCPs, Allied Healthcare Professionals and their support staff.
Demonstrate a consistently high degree of product, competitor and therapy area knowledge.
Continuously update and maintain the Company CRM database (OCE) with call information and insights. Identify, target and classify all prescribers in line with company and team guidelines.
Maintain consistent and effective territory coverage and frequency over the entire territory, which may include regional and country areas.
Achieve effective call rates on HCPs.
Make and forward plan all business appointments and field activities in the OCE diary.
Make targeted cold calls and diarized appointments which may include remote / digital engagements using the phone or commercial video-conferencing software.
Attend medical or sales meetings and sales cycle meetings / conferences as nominated which may fall on weekends or non-working weekdays. This will also include virtual remote meetings.
Be willing to travel on weekends to attend such meetings.
Uncover, identify and report promptly on any competitor’s intelligence gained in-field.
Fulfil all reporting requirements as stipulated by the National Sales Manager and Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
Providing updated, accurate records of all field activity in the CRM system. Review and report on sales and territory activity monthly.
Work within the allocated promotional budgets and follow all expense control guidelines Submit a monthly expense claim in Concur along with validated tax receipts.
Report all Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) to the QA and Compliance Manager in line with Ferring policy and procedure and within the specified time limits.
Ensure proper care and use of all assigned Ferring company property.
Conduct all product and business meetings in accordance with Ferring policy and procedures and the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.

Tertiary scientific education or similar level is desirable.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar pharmaceutical sales role.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Understand and demonstrates effective selling principles
Action and results orientated.
Works well independently and within a team environment.
Demonstrates time management skills and meets deadlines.
Well-developed IT ability/skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OCE CRM database, and digital webcasting and video-conferencing tools (Teams).
Understands medical terminology and literature and can relay medical information effectively and succinctly.
Has excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrates good communication skills and intercultural adaptability and sensitivity.
Fluent in English.
Holds a valid driver license and demonstrates a safe driving history.
