The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.</p><p><b>Location:</b> Hasler Flats, BC (located 30 minutes from Chetwynd, BC). Successful candidate will be responsible for own transportation to and from the plant location.</p><p><b>Hours: </b>40 hours per week with occasional call-ins as required to support operational needs.</p><p><b>Wage:</b> $59.95 per hour. $400 a month for Northern Allowance.</p><div></div><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices, schematics, and technical documentation.</p></li><li><p>Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all electrical systems.</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and related components in accordance with electrical codes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all safety standards.</p></li><li><p>Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.</p></li><li><p>Recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency of equipment.</p></li></ul><div></div><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Journeyman Electrician Certification in BC or Red Seal Endorsement (or equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Minimum Class B Field Safety Representative (FSR) certification through Technical Safety BC.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industrial control systems, and automated equipment.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical manuals.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advanced Certificate in Automated Controls Installation and Maintenance (ACIM) is considered an asset.</p></li><li><p>Experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environment is considered an asset.</p></li><li><p>Safety tickets: H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS is considered an asset.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span><span>.</span></p>
