What we’re looking for:
As a HSE Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening a practical, high-performing safety culture across operations. Working closely with leaders and frontline teams, you will translate HSEQ requirements into clear, actionable practices that enhance how work is planned, executed, and delivered each day.

What you’ll bring to the team:
A credible and influential HSE leader, recognised for driving safety performance and partnering with operations to deliver practical, high-impact outcomes. You bring:
Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum), with ICAM and Cert IV TAE highly regarded
5+ years’ experience in HSEQ within construction, resources, or heavy industrial environments
Strong expertise in WHS legislation, compliance, and risk management frameworks
Proven track record leading incident investigations, audits, and assurance activities
Ability to translate data and insights into targeted, operational improvements
Demonstrated success influencing and coaching leaders to build safety ownership and capability
Experience embedding HSEQ into operational planning and delivery
Strong commercial judgement with a balanced, risk-based approach to decision-making
Clear, confident communicator who can engage, challenge, and build trust at all levels
High integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to Zero Harm and continuous improvement
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will be a key driver of safety performance across the business. partnering with leaders and frontline teams to embed HSEQ into how work is planned, executed, and improved. You will:
Provide visible, values-led safety leadership that builds a proactive, accountable, and high-performing safety culture
Partner with operations to embed HSEQ into planning, decision-making, and execution, ensuring risk is effectively managed upfront
Lead and support incident investigations, delivering quality root cause analysis and ensuring meaningful, sustainable corrective actions
Drive a strong reporting culture, increasing visibility of hazards, near misses, and emerging risks
Conduct audits, inspections, and assurance activities to maintain compliance and strengthen operational discipline
Analyse safety data and trends to deliver targeted, data-driven improvements that reduce risk and improve performance
Coach and develop leaders to lift capability in safety conversations, risk management, and accountability
Ensure consistent application of WHS legislation, systems, and client requirements across all operations
Support effective injury management and return-to-work outcomes, ensuring care for people and compliance with obligations
Deliver clear, actionable HSEQ insights and reporting to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
