The Position

As the Head of Project Management for Roche Information Solutions (RIS), you will be at the heart of our digital transformation. You will lead a high-performing chapter of project management experts dedicated to delivering life-changing digital healthcare products.

In this role, you will:

- Shape Strategy: Partner with the Portfolio & Project Management Leadership Team to design and execute mid-to-long-term strategies that drive excellence across Roche Diagnostics.

- Lead with Vision: Act as the primary expert for digital product development project management, ensuring our capabilities evolve with industry trends.

- Empower People: Serve as a VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leader, mentoring Sub-Chapter and Network Leads to reach their full professional potential.

- Optimize Resources: Collaborate across functions to break down silos, ensuring the right expertise is allocated to the most impactful organizational priorities.

- Drive Innovation: Champion the evolution of our Digital Foundation, leveraging data, systems, and AI to enhance project execution.

- Build Partnerships: Cultivate trusting relationships with executive stakeholders, influencing global alignment to achieve our Diagnostics Vision.

Who You Are

You are a proactive, strategic leader who thrives on building diverse teams and navigating complex, global environments. You bring a coaching mindset and a passion for developing talent in a networked organization. To be successful in this role, you bring:

- Extensive Leadership Experience: Significant track record in line management and leading diverse, international teams within a technology-driven industry.

- Digital Expertise: Over 15 years of experience in project management specifically for software and digital products, ideally within Life Sciences or Diagnostics.

- Methodological Mastery: Deep knowledge of project management frameworks, including proficiency in Scaled Agile (SAFe) and regulated product development.

- Strategic Mindset: Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge the status quo with innovative ideas.

- Global Collaboration: Excellent communication skills in English and the flexibility to partner with teams across Europe and US time zones, including 10-20% travel.
