Senior Field Marketing Manager

Every breach, every failed audit, every new hire stuck in onboarding purgatory traces back to the same question: who has access to what — and should they? Identity is where modern companies break. Too much access leaks data. Too little grinds the business to a halt. Lumos is the industry's first Autonomous Identity Platform — software that doesn't just surface access risk, but acts on it. We started with a self-service AppStore and grew into the critical infrastructure connecting apps, identities, and data for GitHub, MongoDB, Mars, Pinterest, Anduril, Intercom, Roku, and Netskope. At the center is Albus, our AI agent for identity — mining roles, approving access, and catching the drift humans miss. You'll ship work that thousands of IT and security teams touch every day. You'll own problems without playbooks, because the category is being redefined in real time — by us. Why Lumos? - 🚀 Jump on a rocketship. Since launching out of stealth in April 2022, we've grown from 20 to ~130 Alchemists and raised over $65M from a16z, Scale, Neo, Greg Brockman (President at OpenAI), and Phil Venables (CISO at Google). - ⭐ Customers love us — and so does the industry. Named a Strong Performer in the 2026 Gartner Voice of the Customer for IGA — 4.7/5, with 96% of reviewers saying they'd recommend us. Our customers cut time-to-access by 98%, slash IT tickets by 72%, and eliminate excess privilege at scale. - 🏆 A culture worth joining. Three years running on Forbes' Top 100 Best Startup Employers in America (2024, 2025, 2026) — measured on culture, retention, growth, and job creation. That's our Alchemists, not our marketing. See what we live by here https://blog.lumos.com/p/the-anatomy-of-an-alchemist. As the Senior Field Marketing Manager at Lumos, you will own and scale our highest-impact field programs, executing experiences that create demand, accelerate pipeline, and deepen relationships with customers and partners. This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role. You will run priority event programs end-to-end, from planning and promotion through on-site execution and post-event follow-up, ensuring every moment is tied to a clear audience, narrative, and measurable outcomes. You will partner closely with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing Ops to deliver consistent, high-quality execution and continuously improve performance over time. You have a massive opportunity to define how we show up in-market and to directly influence pipeline through world-class field execution. ✨Your Responsibilities - Own execution of priority field marketing programs, including a portfolio of sponsored conferences, owned events (executive dinners, roundtables, workshops), and partner moments. - Run tentpole conference programs end-to-end (e.g., RSA, Identiverse, Gartner IAM, etc.), including timelines, vendor coordination, booth and experience planning, staffing plans, and on-site execution. - Operationalize and iterate the event playbook (pre, during, post), including planning templates, checklists, run-of-show, and post-mortems. - Drive post-event conversion, coordinating lead routing, follow-up sequences, meeting scheduling, and next steps with Demand Gen, SDRs, and Sales. - Execute partner field programs, working with strategic partners on co-marketing events that create net-new demand and support active pipeline. - Partner cross-functionally to ship the full event stack, including briefs, landing pages, messaging, assets, and nurture in collaboration with PMM, Web, and Design, and partnering with Demand, CX, and sales to activate customers and prospects. - Track results and run learning loops, reporting on KPIs (pipeline created and influenced, meetings held, conversions, ROI) and improving performance quarter over quarter. 🙌 What We're Looking For: - 6–10 years of experience in B2B field marketing and events in high-growth SaaS, ideally in cybersecurity, identity, or an adjacent technical category. - Proven track record delivering measurable pipeline impact through events and field programs. - Strong end-to-end execution experience across event types, including large conferences and intimate executive programs. - Excellent cross-functional and sales partnership skills, with the ability to drive timelines, align stakeholders, and execute reliably. - Strong project management and vendor management, with high standards for on-site execution and attendee experience. - Comfort operating in ambiguity and making practical trade-offs to ship high-quality work on time. - Clear, direct communicator who can manage stakeholders and keep teams aligned on priorities and next steps. - Nice to have: - Experience with ABM motions and attribution (SFDC/HubSpot/Dreamdata or similar). - Experience running partner co-marketing programs. - Experience building repeatable follow-up and measurement processes. ⭐️What We Value We also care about whether you would be a good fit for Lumos based on the values https://blog.lumos.com/p/the-anatomy-of-an-alchemist?open=false#%C2%A7lumos-values-the-anatomy-of-an-alchemist and characteristics that define how we achieve outcomes, not just your resume.
