This includes overseeing corporate insurance programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and optimizing coverage for pharmaceutical-specific risks such as product liability, clinical trials, and supply chain disruptions.</p><p></p><p><b>Your day at Ferring</b></p><p><b>Insurance Program Management</b></p><ul><li>Maintain global insurance programs (Property, Casualty, Product Liability, Clinical Trials, D&amp;O).</li><li>Negotiate terms with brokers and insurers to ensure cost-effective coverage.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate insurance market trends and regulatory changes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Risk Assessment &amp; Mitigation</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess insurable risks.</li><li>Provide guidance on risk transfer strategies for new projects, acquisitions, and expansions.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Claims Management</b></p><ul><li>Oversee global claims handling process, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting.</li><li>Act as liaison between internal teams and insurers for complex claims.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compliance &amp; Governance</b></p><ul><li>Ensure adherence to local and international insurance regulations.</li><li>Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and regulatory reviews.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Stakeholder Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, R&amp;D, and local teams to align insurance coverage with business needs.</li><li>Advise senior management on insurance-related matters and emerging risks.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Behind our innovation…There’s you</b></p><p></p><p><b>Education</b>: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ARM, CPCU) preferred.</p><p></p><p><b>Experience</b>:</p><ul><li>5-7 years in corporate insurance or risk management, ideally in a multinational environment.</li><li>Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Technical Skills</b>:</p><ul><li>Deep knowledge of global insurance markets and regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Familiarity with pharmaceutical-specific risks (clinical trials, product liability).</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Soft Skills</b>:</p><ul><li>Strong negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage complex projects across multiple geographies.</li><li>Analytical mindset with attention to detail.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>People come first at Ferring</b></p><ul><li>Get inspired from our commitment to advocate for everyone’s right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live or who you love</li><li>Our inclusive support package – “Building Families at Ferring” provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and role.
