Ability to quickly establish credibility with and influence diverse audiences.</p><p> </p><ul><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Maintains ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance with the worldwide</span></p></li></ul><p>Controller’s manual and to all applicable laws and regulations</p><ul><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Ensure financial records are in compliance with GAAP. Consistently maintains appropriate internal controls and upholds company policies and procedures including Worldwide Controller’s manual.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the accounting close and financial reporting process for the markets within their responsibilities.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Responsible for the timely and accurate review of month-end close and accounting transactions; P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation, and resolution.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Responsible for recruitment, retention, motivation, performance management and development of staff.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Contribution to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Interacts successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits by providing timely and accurate data and communication.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Coordination of Balance Sheet Reviews with the relevant Controller and Market Finance Leads for respective Market(s)</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and different cultures</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Responsible for supporting and review of the Statutory Accounting Activities for one or more entities.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Review of VAT & Intrastat calculations per VAT registration and oversight of related filings</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Support the monthly operations decks process for one or more entities within the GFS.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Responsibility for Accounting SOX Compliance and controls for all markets within the GFS</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Contribute to the preparation of monthly flux reporting packs.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Ability to travel is necessary.</span></p></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><b>Knowledge, experience, competencies:</b></p><p> </p><ul><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Qualified Chartered Accountant or person with an equivalent accountancy qualification with a fundamental understanding of what it takes to operate within a multi-country RTR environment in a multi-national corporation.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">The person we seek will ideally have RTR experience in a similar organization operating in several major countries in Europe, with exposure to the United States and in depth knowledge of general accounting policies and procedures in particular US GAAP as well as knowledge of local GAAP reporting.</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working under pressure and to meet strict reporting deadlines</span></p></li><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">People management experience is essential.</span></p></li></ul><p>· Demonstrates a strong skillset and genuine interest in digital finance and the application of automation, analytics, and AI to enhance RTR processes and controls.</p><ul><li style="color:black !important"><p><span style="color:#000000">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -
