The Customer Facing Capabilities (CFC) organization is designed to drive excellence in field operations and commercial execution across Sanofi's North American business. This team supports field teams through capability building, process optimization, and technology enablement — delivering impact across Field Learning and Development, Field Deployment and Incentive Compensation, CRM, Field Reporting, Engagement Operations, Field Sales Analytics, and Change Management. 

The Director, Field Reporting - Specialty Care will lead all aspects of Field Reporting design, development and operations across the Sanofi US Specialty Care Commercial customer-facing (sales, market access, account management) portfolio.  This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Go to Market Capabilities (GTMC) colleagues, Digital (ITS), the Sanofi Hub, and vendors to ensure business needs are delivered through all Field Reporting initiatives. They continuously seek innovative approaches to increase sales efficiency. This individual will manage Associate Directors, the Sanofi Field Reporting Hub, and vendor partnerships in support of the entire Sanofi US organization.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• In Collaboration with the Director - Vaccines/General Medicines, set vision and strategic direction for the team, driving collaborative relationships, positive business outcomes, and executional excellence
• Encourage innovation, and lead a change management agenda to drive business impact above and beyond the current state of capabilities
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Marketing Therapeutic Area Leadership, representing the GTMC perspective and the North America voice in global field reporting decisions
• Partner with Sales and Marketing Leadership to understand brand and sales strategy and ensure consistency in execution across BUs where appropriate

 

 Field Reporting Design and Delivery

• Lead the design, development, and operations of field reports across all US Specialty Care Commercial customer-facing teams, ensuring field force and home office management can monitor performance and execution effectively
• Build strategies, processes, and tools — leveraging pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA, SP/PSS, 867), BI and AI platforms — to deliver actionable insights and high-impact field engagement
• Drive adoption of AI-powered analytics, automation, and self-service reporting to modernize field reporting infrastructure and increase operational efficiency

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Digital/ITS, Commercial, Market Access, Trade, Value and Access, Compliance, and Field Learning and Development to drive implementation and adoption of field reports and field AI solutions
• Partner with global GTMC colleagues to share best practices, drive consistency, and effectively leverage hub teams

 

Team and Operations Management

• Manage and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and subject matter expertise across the team
• Provide appropriate training and hands-on experience to develop the team, and continually strengthen and upgrade capabilities to meet and exceed goals
• Establish and maintain documentation and governance materials; manage staffing, budget, prioritization, and delivery across the team and vendor partnerships

 

About You

Work Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Commercial Analytics, Reporting, or Sales Operations, or equivalent consulting
• Proven experience partnering with or leading field teams
• Track record of delivering high-quality solutions with strong attention to detail and measurable business value
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience working in a regulated industry environment with strong compliance orientation
• Vendor management experience

 

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with pharmaceutical data sources: IQVIA, LAAD, Xponent, Symphony, Komodo, CMS, Optum, Questlab, SP/PSS, DDD/867

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools: Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy

• Experience with database tools: Snowflake, Oracle, Dbeaver, SQL Server

• Experience with CRM platforms: Veeva, Salesforce

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with project management and portfolio management tools
• Technical knowledge of AI applications and emerging capabilities in commercial operations

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline required
• Master's degree preferred

• Experience managing teams within matrix organizations
• Background in multicultural environments and global or cross-regional project leadership
• Experience managing offshore or hub team partnerships

The salary range for this position is:

$161,250.00 - $232,916.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs, and additional benefits information can be found here.
