Job Description
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the center of Gilead’s Medical Affairs AI transformation. As Director of Global AI Product Enablement, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and business value realization of AI capabilities across the Medical Affairs Technology (MAT) portfolio.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing a multi-year AI product vision that translates emerging technologies—such as RAG, agentic AI, and LLM-based solutions—into scalable, high-impact products that address critical Medical Affairs needs. This includes identifying the right problems to solve, prioritizing investments, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and adoption.
This role operates without a direct team and requires strong influence-based leadership across a global, matrixed organization. Success depends on your ability to align senior stakeholders, define clear product priorities, and partner effectively with IT and external vendors who execute delivery.
You will partner closely with the ED of MAT and leaders across GMSO, Medical Affairs, IT, Legal, Medical Governance, and Compliance. Your ability to drive product adoption, scale solutions, and deliver measurable impact across Medical Affairs is critical to success.
